Jewelry technology teaches fabrication, casting, jewelry repair and stone-setting. Students can choose from 3 program options: Repair Technician Certificate, Jewelry Technology Certificate, or An Associate of Applied Science degree in Jewelry Technology.
Gemology is the study of gemstones. It is a certificate program that includes colored stone identification and the evaluation of diamonds and pearls.
Horology includes basic and advanced training of all that’s needed to repair today’s advanced watches. The skills can even be used in other technologies, such as instrumentation and microelectronics. Students can choose from certificate and AAS degree program options.
CAD/CAM is a certificate program that introduces the latest technology allowing students to design virtual jewelry and send it to a 3D printer and / or a multiple-axis milling system that provides a perfect model for casting.
